Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week travel assignment in Kearney, NE. You’ll provide high-quality stepdown care to patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour nights.

Qualifications

One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data
Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care
Prepares equipment and aids physician during cardiac procedures
Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients
Documents nursing history and physical assessment for telemetry patients
Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and risk factors
