Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing assignment in Lebanon, New Hampshire. This 13-week travel role features 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts, requiring a Stepdown RN with recent experience and active RN license.

You will work closely with a clinical team to monitor telemetry patients, administer medications, and provide patient education while following protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Current RN license valid in state regulations
• BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) current
• ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC) current

Responsibilities

• Monitors telemetry, vital signs, and cardiac rhythms and responds to abnormalities
• Administers prescribed meds and treatments with focus on cardiac care
• Prepares equipment and assists physician during cardiac procedures
• Observes comfort and safety of telemetry patients
• Documents nursing history and updates care plans
• Educates patients on cardiac health and lifestyle changes
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care
• Adheres to safety protocols and infection control standards
• Maintains patient confidentiality and proper documentation
