Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a travel RN for the PCU – Progressive Care Unit on a 13-week assignment. The role involves 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, providing care to patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units.

Required: 1 year Stepdown RN experience, NH RN license, BLS and ACLS. Travel-friendly benefits and a dedicated clinical team support you throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license valid per state regulations.
• BLS certification current (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS certification current (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry, vitals, and cardiac rhythms, intervening as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per nursing standards, focusing on cardiac care.
• Assist physicians during cardiac procedures and examinations.
• Educate patients on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Document assessments and respond to changes in patient status.
