• Minimum 1 year of PACU experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient Phase I PACU unit.
• Patient ratio of 1:2.
• Day shift schedule: 3x12 hours (7:00–19:30).
• Weekend shifts required.
• Cardiac monitoring, arterial line management, dysrhythmia recognition/management, IV therapy/phlebotomy, blood product administration, and central line care/management.
• Administers IV vasopressors, narcotics/opioid analgesics, and reversal agents.
• Neurological care including EVD and ICP monitoring.
• Care of ventilated patients.
• Post-anesthesia care for various anesthesia types.
• Surgery cases include bariatrics, ENT, general, GYN, neuro, ophthalmology, ortho, vascular.
• Uses Epic EMR.
• Pain assessment and PCA pump management, and RASS monitoring.
• Follows Malignant Hyperthermia Protocol.
• First-time travelers are welcome.
• RTO <= 5 non-consecutive days; one holiday off Nov-Jan; subject to approval.
• Candidates residing within 90 miles are local and eligible for local rate.

• Candidates residing within 90 miles are considered local and eligible for the local rate
