Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU role in a Level 1 Trauma hospital in Oklahoma. The position requires at least 1 year of PACU experience and an active RN license. 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week, with travel incentives and generous housing support.

Travel and licensure reimbursements, Day 1 benefits, and 401(k) are included. First-time travelers meeting experience requirements may be considered.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Oklahoma or multistate compact (eNLC).
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications by AHA.
• Minimum 1 year PACU experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Strong nursing theory knowledge and patient care techniques.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Adult PACU unit of a Level 1 Trauma hospital.
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week for 36 hours weekly.
• Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Document responses to nursing interventions for assigned patients.
• Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures.
• Monitor physiologic data and ensure patient safety.
• Administer medications, manage IV infusions and blood products.
• Coordinate care plans and discharge information with patients and families.
• Delegate tasks to support staff.
• First-time travelers may be considered if they meet requirements.

• Minimum of 1 year of PACU experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Strong knowledge of nursing theory, practices, and techniques
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills required

Responsibilities

• Work in the Adult PACU unit of a Level 1 Trauma hospital
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week for a total of 36 hours weekly
• Provides post-anesthesia nursing care to a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels
• Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients and documents responses to nursing interventions
• Assists physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic or treatment procedures
• Monitors physiological data and intervenes as needed for patient safety
• Administers medications and manages IV infusions and blood products
• Coordinates care plans and discharge information with patients and families
• Delegates tasks appropriately to support staff
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Full date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
• Credentialing and compliance deadlines are strictly enforced with no flexibility for start date changes
• First-time travelers may be considered if they meet experience requirements
