Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU assignment. Requires MT or compact RN license, BLS, and ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate.

The role features day shifts (10-hour, four days per week) in a hospital PACU, using Epic for charting, with potential to float to other units and be on-call as needed. DOB and SSN last 4 digits are required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Active RN license MT or compact
• BLS certification through AHA
• ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate, issued by AHA, not expiring before start
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• 1 year PACU experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Work in the PACU of a hospital setting
• Day shift, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• Use Epic for charting
• May float to other departments within scope of competency
• May be on-call during a scheduled shift
• Perform independent nursing and delegated medical functions
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care and education
• Document care per hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Review therapy and refer for further evaluation as needed
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least 1 year before travel eligibility

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) position requiring 1 year of specialty experience and MT or compact RN licensure.

Requirements

• Active RN license (MT or compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• ACLS/NRP/PALS certification as appropriate for the unit or service, must be AHA-issued and not expire prior to start
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• 1 year of experience in PACU required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• Uses Epic for charting
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, including health teaching and counseling
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans, referring patients for further evaluation as needed
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before becoming eligible for a travel assignment
