Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room travel assignment in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of circulating OR experience and robotic surgery expertise.

Requirements include an active Oklahoma RN license, BLS/ACLS, and proficiency across general, orthopedic, thoracic, and urology cases. You will work day shifts with some evenings on rotation and may have on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Active OK RN license (or compact) required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years circulating OR experience required.
• Robotic surgery experience required.
• Experience across general, orthopedic, thoracic, and urology procedures.
• Knowledge of emergency management, fire safety and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Work in the OR unit of a hospital.
• Day shift: 5x8.5 hours (6:30 AM–3:00 PM).
• Late shifts until 7:00 PM on rotation 1–2 times per week.
• Possible on-call responsibilities.
• Uses Meditech charting system.
• First-time travelers will not be considered.
• Minimal RTO accepted (<5 days).
• Submit two professional references for consideration.

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license in hand required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of circulating OR experience required
• Robotic surgery experience required
• Experience with a wide range of surgical specialties including general surgery, orthopedic, thoracic, and urology procedures
• Skilled in emergency management, fire safety, and infection control protocols
• Knowledge of blood product administration, specimen handling, and Universal Protocol time-out procedures
• Experience with cell saver equipment

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room unit of a hospital environment
• Day shift schedule (5x8.5 hours, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM)
• Late shifts until 7:00 PM required on rotation 1-2 times per week
• Possible on-call responsibilities
• Uses Meditech charting system
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
• Minimal RTO accepted (less than 5 days)
• Candidates must submit two professional references for consideration
