Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is seeking a Travel RN for an Operating Room role in Houston, TX. The circulating RN will support GEN/GYN/GU/Pedi open and laparoscopic cases and must hold an active TX license. First travel assignment welcomed.

You will work in a hospital-based OR unit with 9 beds, with day shifts and weekend rotation, and possible 2x12 or 2x8 hour shifts. Robotic experience is a plus; US SSN and DOB are required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR nursing experience required
• Circulating experience in GEN/GYN/GU/Pedi open and laparoscopic cases required
• Robotic surgery experience preferred
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• No employment gaps of 90+ days in the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Operating Room unit with 9 OR beds
• Circulating RN role for GEN/GYN/GU/Pedi open and laparoscopic cases
• Day shift schedule with weekend rotation required
• Shift options include 6:30a-5p, with possible 2x12 and 2x8 hour combinations
• Night coverage handled by on-call staff
• On-call duties may be required
• Provide circulating RN support for general, gynecological, urological, and pediatric surgical cases
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
