Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with circulating experience in robotics, general surgery, GYN, and urology for a 13-week travel assignment.

Requirements include AZ or compact RN license, BLS, 2+ years OR experience, robotics exposure, and ability to respond to callbacks within 30 minutes. Scrubs provided and Cerner EMR used.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in AZ or compact license.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum two years of experience in OR.
• At least one year in OR specialty.
• Experience in robotics, general surgery, GYN, and urology.
• Circulating RN experience required.
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Operate in OR setting within a hospital.
• Work day shift 4x10s 06:30-17:00.
• Be available for weekday and weekend call shifts.
• Return to the hospital within 30 minutes of a callback.
• Use Cerner EMR for charting.
• Perform circulating RN duties across surgical specialties including robotics, general surgery, GYN, and urology.

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with circulating experience in robotics, general surgery, GYN, and urology for a 13-week travel assignment.

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• At least 1 year of recent experience in the OR specialty required
• Required experience in robotics, general surgery, GYN, and urology procedures
• Circulating experience required
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license and US Social Security Number required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Operating Room setting within a hospital
• Day shift schedule working 4x10s (06:30-17:00)
• Call requirements include approximately 4-5 weekday call shifts and 2-3 weekend call shifts monthly, fluctuating based on department staffing
• Weekend call shifts run 7a-7p or 7p-7a on Saturday or Sunday
• Must be able to return to the hospital within 30 minutes of a callback
• Scrubs provided
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Perform circulating RN duties across a variety of surgical specialties including robotics, general surgery, GYN, and urology
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local travelers are not accepted
• RTO requests must be less than one week
