Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an RN - Operating Room in Manning, SC for a flexible, multi-specialty OR role. Active SC or compact RN license and at least 1 year of RN experience are required, with BLS and ACLS for AHA.

Nursys verification must be completed within 30 days of start. Day shifts with 4/10 or 4/9 hour options; call every 4th weekend and some on-call days. You may float to similar units as needed while delivering age-appropriate, evidence-based care and contributing to a

Responsibilities

• Operating Room unit supporting multiple service lines including General, Neuro, Ortho, and Robotics.
• Day shift schedule with 4/10hr or 4/9hr shift options.
• Call required every 4th weekend plus 1-2 days per week based on staffing needs.
• Floating to similar units required as needed.
• Assess patient needs through history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data analysis.
• Provide age-specific nursing interventions consistent with the plan of care and standards of practice.
• Foster a caring, compassionate, and respectful environment for patients, families, and visitors.
• Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect patients and staff.
• Contribute to department performance through precepting and mentoring novice employees.
• Participate in hospital-system initiatives and evidence-based nursing practices.
• Demonstrate professional growth through goal setting and continuing education.
