Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks an OR RN with Level 1 Trauma experience for a hospital in Ohio. Must hold OH RN license, BLS, NIHSS, and have DaVinci Xi Robot and Liver Transplant experience. Night shift is 6:30 PM–7:00 AM; travel or local assignment options may apply.

Minimum 2 years of perioperative experience, references, and prompt fingerprinting per compliance timelines are required. RTO cap is seven days; locals welcome at the same rate.

Qualifications

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration.
• Current certifications: BLS and NIHSS.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
• Required experience with DaVinci Xi Robot and Liver Transplant procedures.
• Preferred experience in Level 1 Trauma settings.
• Preferred experience with eye procedures.
• 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a manager/director or supervisor and the second from a charge RN or above; no coworker references accepted.

Responsibilities

• Operating Room unit at a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital.
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 6:30 PM-7:00 AM.
• Weekend and holiday coverage may be required based on unit needs.
• Provide perioperative nursing care across a broad range of surgical specialties including general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastics, urology, ENT, and transplant procedures.
• Experience with robotic-assisted surgeries and endoscopic procedures is highly valued.
• Must complete Ohio BCI and FBI fingerprinting promptly after accepting an offer due to strict compliance timelines.
• RTO must be submitted and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less.
• Locals are accepted at the same rate.
• Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more.
• Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at this health system.
• First-time travelers are not preferred for this position.
