American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN Circulator for an Operating Room position in Michigan. Active MI license required; robot-assisted, general, ortho, cataracts, endo, gyn surgeries experience preferred.

The role requires 3-5 years OR circulator experience, current BLS/ACLS/PALS, and prior charge nurse background. Day shifts 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with on-call 7 days/month; Epic EMR experience is a plus. Free parking and pre-start training included.

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Circulator for an Operating Room position requiring an active MI license, prior charge experience, and robot-assisted surgical skills.

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license required by start date (compact license not accepted)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred
• 3-5 years of OR circulator experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• Experience with general, ortho, cataracts, endo, robot-assisted general, and gyn surgery required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Proof of high school level education required

Responsibilities

• Operating Room setting at a Critical Access hospital
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities required 7 days per month, covering weekday evenings/overnights and full weekend shifts
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Circulator duties including conscious sedation and robot-assisted procedures in ortho, cataracts, endo, and general/gyn surgery
• Uses Epic charting system
• Role involves circulating for a variety of surgical specialties including robot-assisted procedures
• Surgical blue scrub color required for RNs
• Free parking available with badge access to the garage
• Pre-start training modules required, which may vary by specialty
• Maximum RTO of 5 days per assignment, must be submitted at time of profile submission
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
• Former core staff must wait 12 months before returning to the facility
• First‑time travelers may be considered for this position
