Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room - General position requiring circulating skills and multi-specialty surgical experience including Ortho, General, GYN, Urology, and Neuro.

Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM in an ambulatory teaching hospital setting; no weekends, no on-call; hospital scrubs are provided and you will deliver quality nursing care per the nursing process.

Qualifications

• Active MI RN license required at time of submission.
• Compact license not accepted.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN OR and ENDO experience.
• Must be able to circulate independently.
• Experience in Ortho, General, GYN, Urology, and Neuro.
• Trauma Level II experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ambulatory Surgery Center setting within a tertiary teaching hospital
• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• No weekend requirements
• No on‑call requirements
• Hospital‑provided scrubs
• Deliver quality nursing care through application of the nursing process
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain professional nursing standards
• Follow medical center policies and standards of practice as defined by professional and regulatory guidelines
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment
