Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Circulator in Lake Havasu City, AZ to support a busy operating room. The role handles 10-25 cases daily, including robotic procedures with DaVinci XI, total joints, spine, and neuro cases.

You will document in Meditech and work a 6:30 AM–3:00 PM day shift, with every-other weekend coverage and on-call duties. Applicants must hold an AZ or Compact RN license, current AHA certifications, and 1–2 years OR circulator experience.

Job description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room Circulator position requiring 1-2 years of OR experience and an active AZ or compact RN license.

Requirements

• Active RN license (AZ or Compact) required
• AHA certifications required
• 1-2 years of OR circulator experience required
• Experience with robotic surgery cases preferred
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration

Responsibilities

• Community hospital and regional referral center with 171 beds, Joint Commission Accredited and a Level III Trauma Center
• Operating Room setting handling 10-25 cases a day including total joints, MAKO robotic knees and hips, spine, ortho, neuro, cranis, robotics, OB/GYN, podiatry, urology, general surgery, and plastics
• Uses XI DaVinci robotic surgical equipment
• Documents in Meditech EHR
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend, supported by a call team of RN, CSTFA, and CST
• Call requirements vary based on staffing levels, typically a few call days per month
• May be required to float within a 25 mile radius of the facility
• Circulate for a high volume OR performing total hip, knee, and shoulder replacements, neuro and ortho spine procedures, and robotic surgeries
• Weekend call may involve urgent procedures such as XLIF or total hip replacement for fracture patients
• Located in Lake Havasu City, AZ, offering outdoor recreation, local dining, and scenic mountain and lake views
• Within a few hours' drive of Las Vegas, Phoenix, Grand Canyon National Park, and Los Angeles/San Diego
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel pay rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
