Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN - OR Circulator for a Days position in Michigan. Requires 2+ years of OR circulating experience and active MI RN license. BLS certification and non-compact license are required.

Gain exposure to multiple specialties, including Ortho, General, GYN, Urology, and Neuro. You will work 9:00 AM–5:30 PM with on-call coverage; travel-friendly local traveler rates apply within 35 miles.

Qualifications

• Active MI RN license required at time of submission.
• Compact license not accepted.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• 2+ years of OR circulating experience required.
• Experience in Ortho, General, GYN, Urology, and Neuro specialties.
• Trauma Level II experience preferred.
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application required.

Responsibilities

• Surgical Department with 7 operating room suites.
• Full spectrum of surgical specialties represented, except open-heart surgery.
• Uses Paragon EMR.
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM.
• Rotating on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage required.
• Deliver quality nursing care through utilization of the nursing process.
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to maintain professional nursing standards.
• Carry out functions according to medical center policy and professional/regulatory guidelines.
• Hospital-provided scrubs required.
• Local candidates within a 35-mile radius are eligible for local traveler rates.
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested.
• Full-time McLaren employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
