American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position at a Level 1 trauma center, requiring prior travel experience and strong surgical skills.

Shifts are 10 hours (6:45 AM–5:15 PM) with weekend and holiday coverage; travel candidates may be offered local pay parity. Join a fast-paced trauma environment with high acuity cases.

Qualifications

• Active GA or compact RN license.
• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• Level 1 trauma center experience required.
• Strong OR skills with high rating on skills checklist required.
• Burn experience preferred.
• Experience in high-volume hospitals managing complex, severe, and diverse cases required.

Responsibilities

• Operating Room unit within a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center.
• 10-hour day shifts scheduled from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM.
• No block scheduling available.
• Weekend shifts required 4 times per month.
• Holiday coverage required.
• On-call responsibilities included.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-pressure trauma environment handling complex surgical cases.
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as traveler pay.
