Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN to serve as an Operating Room circulator in Ohio. The position requires 12 months of permanent OR experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Shifts are days, 3x12s (7:00am–7:30pm) with some variation. Locals are welcome at the same bill rate. Vaccines (COVID-19/flu) are required with exemptions considered; fingerprinting is required after contract signing. Remote work is not available for this role.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio or compact RN license in hand.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required and active at time of consideration.
• Minimum of 12 months permanent OR experience required.
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required.
• Co-worker references will not be accepted.
• Certifications must be active and in hand, not pending.
• No open background check cases or license hits accepted.

Responsibilities

• Operating Room unit within a hospital setting.
• Circulator role with scrub experience preferred.
• Day shift, 3x12 hour shifts, typically 7:00am-7:30pm with some variation.
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate.
• Circulate for surgical procedures within the OR.
• Nurses and CSTs are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required with medical or religious exemptions only.
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday.
• RTO must be discussed and finalized during the interview process.
• Permanent employees cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date.
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract.
• First-time travelers are not being considered for this role.
