Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR Circulating RN for a hospital position requiring BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications along with call coverage. The role involves circulating in the OR, handling a diverse patient population, and supporting multiple surgical specialties.

Eligible candidates should have an active NH or Compact RN license, 2+ years of travel nursing experience in OR circulating, and be prepared for rotating call shifts with a 45-minute recall window.

Qualifications

• Active RN license NH or Compact.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Minimum 2 years of travel RN experience as OR circulating.
• Experience in endoscopy, general surgery, orthopedics, urology or podiatry preferred.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform circulating duties in the Operating Room.
• Care for patients from pediatric to geriatric (ages 7–100).
• Support preferred surgical specialties including endoscopy, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, and podiatry.
• Provide intraoperative and postoperative/PACU care.
• PACU training available for candidates without PACU experience.
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM.
• Call required on a rotating basis, typically every third weekend and 1–2 nights per week.
• 45-minute call-back window.
