American Traveler is seeking a Step Down RN for a night shift in Michigan. Requires 2+ years in Step Down with strong cardiac skills, active MI RN license, and BLS/ACLS. Travel nurses welcomed, with local travelers offered reduced rates.

Qualifications

Active MI RN license required at submission.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Minimum 2 years of Step Down experience.
Strong cardiac experience and proficiency.

Responsibilities

Work in Step Down unit with 36 private rooms.
Night shift 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, every other weekend.
No on-call responsibilities; floating to other units as needed.
Deliver nursing care within unit scope following hospital policies.
Supported by Clinical Nurse Specialists for advanced practice.
Formal orientation tailored to individual needs.
Ongoing staff development in wound care and pain management.
Navy blue scrub dress code.
Local travelers within 35 miles receive reduced travel rate.
No more than 5 days of requested RTO.
