Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Night Shift RN for a Stepdown Cardiac unit. Requires OH or compact RN license, BLS, NIHSS, and SD/PCU telemetry experience. Epic EMR experience is required and travel experience is preferred.

The role features 4x12 hour night shifts (19:00-07:30) with weekend/holiday requirements and potential for floating to Premier hospitals. Local candidates outside a 50-mile radius are not accepted. Housing and licensure reimbursements may be offered.

Qualifications

• Active OH or compact RN license required.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum 1.5 years of RN experience with SD or PCU ratio experience required.
• IV starts and EKG/dysrhythmia interpretation skills required.
• Must pass online EKG competency assessment before start.
• Epic EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Stepdown Cardiac unit duties in a hospital setting.
• Patient mix includes heart failure, NSTEMI, post-procedure care.
• Maintain 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratios.
• Night shift 4x12 hours, 19:00-07:30.
• Work every other weekend and holiday.
• Floating to other units per census/skill set.
