American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Neuro ICU travel assignment. Requires 2+ years in critical care with MN RN licensure or pending status. BLS/ACLS and NIHSS are required; CCRN preferred.

The role includes day or night 12-hour shifts, weekend rotations, and potential housing and licensure reimbursements. Travel experience is valued, with magnet-designated ICU exposure.

Qualificações

• Current BLS and ACLS certification required

• CCRN certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU/critical care experience
• Ventilated patient care, continuous IV sedation, and procedural sedation monitoring
• ICP monitoring and neuro assessment experience required
• Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation experience
• Travel experience preferred but not required
• Minimum 1 supervisor reference required

Responsabilidades

• Provide care in Short term acute care Magnet-designated facility
• Neuro ICU unit caring for neurological/neurosurgical patients
• Day shift 7:00–19:30 or night shift 19:00–07:30 (3x12)
• Weekend rotation required every 3rd weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating within scope to affiliate hospitals nearby
• Use of Epic/Excellian EMR
• Deliver critical care nursing to neurologically complex ICU patients including ICP management
• First-time travelers welcome
• Must reside at least 100 miles from facility unless applying for radiology role
• Must be available to travel, with up to 3 months separation from last shift
• RTO requests ideally ≤5 days
• Facility does not provide references to travelers post-assignment
• Minnesota fingerprinting may be required for licensure compliance

• Fingerprinting is a Minnesota state requirement for licensure compliance and may require travel to an approved location if not available locally
