American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a Critical Care Float Pool position in Minnesota. The role requires MN licensure and prior critical care experience, with duties spanning ICU staffing across multiple units and affiliate hospitals.

You will work a 3x12 night schedule with 1:1 to 1:2 staffing ratios and no on-call requirements. Beneficial qualifications include ACLS/BLS, telemetry, and ventilator management, plus the ability to use Epic/Excellian EMR.

Qualifikationen

Requirements

• Active or pending MN RN license required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• Required skills: conscious sedation, telemetry, ventilator management, cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Preferred skills: ICP monitoring and pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring
• Minimum one supervisor reference required for consideration
• Must be willing to complete MN-specific fingerprinting (LiveScan) as required by state law

Responsibilities

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility, with no local radius exception for this position
• Returning staff must have been separated from perm employment (staff or per diem) for at least 3 months before starting a travel assignment
• RTO requests should ideally not exceed 5 days
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Facility does not provide references to travelers post-assignment or to former perm employees
• Pre-start modules are required prior to beginning the assignment
