Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Downey, CA. CA RN license and NRP certification are required. The role features a 12-hour night shift (7:15 PM–7:45 AM), 36 hours per week, and a 14-week assignment.

Epic EMR experience is used, with local candidates considered at travel rates. This position requires recent Level III NICU experience and an accredited nursing degree.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Minimum 1 year recent full-time NICU experience within last 3 years
• Level III NICU experience required
• 7 years of recent Level III NICU experience preferred
• Graduate of accredited nursing program
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in Level III NICU settings
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:15 PM to 7:45 AM
• Support 36 scheduled hours per week
• 14-week assignment length
• Use Epic EMR for documentation
• Deliver care to neonatal patients requiring intensive care
• Accept local candidates at travel pay rates
