American Traveler is seeking a Mother-Baby/Couplet Care/Post Partum RN for a night shift assignment in California. Requires 3+ years of high-risk obstetric and magnesium sulfate postpartum care experience, with active CA RN license, BLS, and NRP.

Location: CA, travel-friendly with housing and licensure support. Night shifts are 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts, 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, with on-call and holiday requirements. First-time travelers welcome.

Qualificações

Active CA RN license required.
BLS and NRP certifications required.
Minimum 3 years of Mother-Baby/Postpartum care experience required.
Experience with high-risk obstetric patients and magnesium sulfate postpartum care required.
LA Fire Card certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

Care for Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum unit in an acute care Magnet hospital.
Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:30 AM).
Patient ratio of 1:4.
On-call requirements apply.
Rotational floating within division to competency, including L&D for recoveries and NICU to assist with feeding, soothing, and changing babies.
Epic EMR used.
L&D and OR scrubs provided; any scrub color accepted.
Provide postpartum and couplet care to mother-baby patients, including high-risk obstetric needs.
Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day).
All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront; post-offer requests may not be accommodated.
First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Local candidates accepted.
Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the facility for local rate eligibility.
Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility.
Two supervisory references required, covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years.
