American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Mother-Baby/Couplet Care/Post Partum night shift at a Magnet-designated teaching hospital in Minnesota. Requires MN licensure and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

Night shifts run 19:00–07:30 with a 1:6 patient ratio and weekend rotation every 3rd weekend. Applicants should have BLS, preferred NRP, and be prepared for Epic/Excellian EMR workflows.

Qualifications

• Active MN RN license (or pending) is required.
• BLS certification required; NRP preferred.
• Typically 1 year of specialty experience is required.
• Charge nurse experience preferred.
• Magnesium sulfate experience is a plus for high-risk cases.
• At least 1 supervisor reference is required.
• Nursys verification and certification copies are required.

Responsabilités

• Work in Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum unit in a Magnet-designated teaching hospital.
• Night shift schedule: 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30.
• Weekend rotation required every 3rd weekend.
• Patient ratio of 1:6.
• Float to equal or lesser acuity floors including nearby affiliates.
• No on-call requirements.

• Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum unit in a short-term acute care, Magnet-designated teaching hospital with Level III Trauma status
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30)
• Weekend rotation required every 3rd weekend
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Float requirement to equal or lesser acuity floors, including affiliate hospitals nearby
• No on-call requirements
• Epic/Excellian EMR experience preferred
• Provide nursing care to mother-baby couplets in a post-partum setting
• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility for consideration, with exceptions only for radiology positions
• Returning travelers must have been gone at least 3 months since their last shift worked as perm staff
• RTO requests should ideally not exceed 5 days
• First-time travelers will be considered, particularly those with high-risk Magnesium sulfate experience
• Facility does not provide references to travelers post-assignment or for prior perm employees
