Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Mother/Baby RN for a night shift in Lone Tree, CO. Requires 1 year MB experience and NRP/BLS certifications. The role is a 13-week assignment in a 26-bed MB unit, with a 7:00 PM–7:00 AM schedule and duties including infant circumcisions and parental education.

Qualifications

• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Works in a 26-bed Mother Baby unit
• Day shift staffed with 1 charge RN, 7-8 RNs, and 1 lactation consultant
• Night shift staffed with 1 charge RN and 6-7 RNs
• Patient ratios typically 1:3 to 1:4, though not guaranteed
• Uses Meditech/CPN EMR system
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Perform circumcisions and educate newborn parents on safety, nurturing, and infant health
• Compassionate, patient, and friendly demeanor with a can-do attitude is valued
• Patient care experience is a priority for this role
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered
