Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position in Oregon. The role requires at least three years of ICU experience and an active RN license with BLS.

Typical schedule is 36–48 hours per week, mostly night shifts (1900-0730). You will deliver and coordinate care, supervise staff, and participate in discharge planning while meeting organizational vaccination policies.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice required.
• BLS certification from an approved vendor required.
• Minimum of three years of ICU experience.
• No prior disciplinary action on license permitted.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Medical ICU unit of an acute care hospital.
• Variable schedule of 36-48 hours per week, mostly night shifts (1900-0730).
• Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients following established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and develop care plans.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane, and caring treatment.
• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning.
• Delegate tasks and coordinate duties among healthcare team members.
• Required vaccinations per organizational policy, with medical and religious exemptions available.
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as traveler positions.
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered.
