American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical ICU night shift position in South Carolina, requiring EPIC EMR experience and SC or compact RN license.

The role demands 2 years MICU experience, 1 year EPIC EMR proficiency, certification in BLS and ACLS (NIHSS preferred). You’ll work 4x12-hour nights with a 1:1-2 patient ratio, and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including housing support and travel/licensure reimbursement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing in Medical ICU.
• Work night shift 4x12 hours, 1900-0730.
• Every other weekend coverage; 13 or 26 week assignments.
• Float to other units within the facility or area.
• Maintain patient ratio 1:1-2 and monitor ventilated patients.
• Use EPIC EMR; participate in orientation and compliance training.

Job description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical ICU night shift position requiring EPIC EMR experience and SC or compact RN license.

Requirements

• Active RN license (SC or compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS; NIHSS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the MICU setting required
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Skills required: respiratory/thoracic care, care of ventilated patients, continuous IV sedation, cardiac monitoring and emergency response, and interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

Responsibilities

• Work in the Medical ICU (MICU) of a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours, 1900-0730
• Every other weekend coverage required, subject to change based on need
• Assignment offered for 13 or 26 weeks to assist with holiday coverage
• Floating required to like units within the facility or to other facilities in the area
• Patient ratio of 1:1-2
• Uses EPIC EMR
• Provide critical care nursing to medical ICU patients including ventilator management and cardiac monitoring
• Orientation occurs every Monday, with annual compliance training required
• Pre-assignment testing and modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials
• First-time travelers will be considered based on experience
