Qualifications

• Active FL or Compact RN license in hand
• BLS/ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Minimum two years of recent full-time ICU experience
• Recent travel nursing experience required
• SICU/MICU/Trauma experience preferred
• Nursing degree from an accredited school or FBON-approved institution
• Two years of recent acute care experience in a US hospital (past 24 months)
• Basic arrhythmia/EKG competency test required

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required in hand
• BLS and ACLS certification via AHA or ARC
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum two years of recent full-time ICU experience required
• Recent travel nursing experience required
• SICU, MICU, and Trauma experience preferred
• Nursing degree must be from an accredited school or FBON-approved institution
• Two years of recent acute care experience in a US hospital required, consecutive within the past 24 months
• Must pass a basic arrhythmia/EKG competency assessment

Responsibilities

• MICU unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-7:30
• Every-other-weekend rotation required
• Floating as needed
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Hurricane sign-up required but not guaranteed

• Local candidates accepted within a 60-mile radius at a reduced rate
• Former Broward Health permanent employees must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
• Candidates from Operation Nightingale schools are not accepted
• Proof of vaccination status required with no declinations allowed
• Facility requires completion of an AHCA Level 2 background screening including fingerprint-based checks
