Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an ICU RN for a night shift assignment in Missouri. Requires at least 2 years of Level 1 ICU experience and MO or compact RN licensure.

You will work 3x12 hour nights (19:00–07:00) on a 13-week contract, with every other weekend and potential float between ICU and Telemetry. Strong critical care skills in ventilator management, arterial/central lines, and vasoactive infusions are essential. Meditech EMR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active MO or Compact RN license required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience, including Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Impella and balloon pump experience required.
• Stroke care and STEMI care experience required.
• Ventilator management, ABG interpretation, and suctioning (ETT, NT).
• Arterial line management, central line care, and blood product administration.
• Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• IV insulin protocols and continuous IV sedation.
• Two professional references required.

Responsibilities

• Medical Intensive Care Unit setting.
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00.
• 13-week contract length.
• Every other weekend, with staffing or traveler flexibility.
• No call required.
• Floating between ICU and Telemetry units.
• Meditech EMR experience strongly preferred.
• Block scheduling not guaranteed but may be considered, especially over weekends.
• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients with complex cardiac, respiratory, and neurological conditions.
