Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a MICU night shift position in Texas. The role requires NIH Stroke Certification and TX or compact RN licensure, with BLS/ACLS not expiring within 30 days.

This 13-week contract in MICU involves night shifts 7pm–7am and delivering critical care to medically complex patients. Candidates must have at least 2 years ICU experience and no 90-day gaps in the past year.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted), not expiring within 30 days of start
• NIH Stroke Certification required for ICU/MICU placement
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Work in the Medical ICU (MICU) department of a hospital setting
• 13-week contract assignment
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7a
• Provide critical care nursing to medically complex ICU patients
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
