American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Med Surg/Telemetry RN for a Level 3 Trauma Center in Iowa. Requires an active IA or compact RN license, BLS, NIHSS, and Heparin experience. Travel position with housing and licensure support in a Level 3 trauma setting.

12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) with 3x12 or 4x12 rotations, 6:1 patient ratio, and every-other-weekend work. Epic EMR experience and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualificações

• Active IA or compact RN license required.
• Active BLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military accepted).
• Active NIHSS certification.
• Minimum 1.5+ years RN experience required.
• Heparin experience required.
• Driver's license required for consideration.
• Supervisory reference/performance evaluation completed within the last two years required.

Responsabilidades

• 12-hour day shift (7:00 AM–7:00 PM), 3x12 or 4x12 schedule.
• Unit: 8 SW Neuro-Ortho; care for Neuro/Ortho and general Med Surg patients.
• Patient ratio 6:1.
• Work every other weekend; no on-call requirements.
• Floating to other med-surg units and local campuses within same discipline.
• Use Epic EMR; work as part of an interdisciplinary nursing team.
• Level 3 Trauma Center setting; navy blue scrubs required.

• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day)
• Limited to 1 day off request between 11/25-11/29 and 12/23-12/27
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Past UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN float pool) may be restricted from travel assignments in other UPH markets within 12 months
