Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced M/S Telemetry RN for a 36-hour rotating shift in Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have an active MA RN license and strong cardiac telemetry skills, with travel experience and BLS certification.

The role involves cardiology telemetry care, post-cath recovery, and use of Epic for charting. Housing allowance, travel reimbursements, and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• AHA BLS certification required
• 2+ years of experience with a strong cardiac background
• 2 years of experience working as a traveler
• Must be able to interpret telemetry strips and perform cardiac drips
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Responsibilities

• Care for 24-bed Medical Cardiology unit with telemetry monitoring
• Post-cath care including PCI, ICD, PPM, and Ablation procedures
• Use TR Band and femoral access techniques
• RN to patient ratio of 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights
• 36-hour work week with rotating days, evenings, and nights, plus every other weekend
• Uses Epic for charting
• Local candidates within 60 miles of Boston at a reduced rate
• Care for medical cardiology patients requiring telemetry monitoring and post-cath recovery
• Interpret telemetry strips and administer cardiac drips
• Timekeeping via UKG/Kronos

• Uses Epic for charting

• Responsible for interpreting telemetry strips and administering cardiac drips
• Local candidates accepted if permanent residence is within 60 miles of Boston, at a reduced rate
• Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
