Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced M/S Telemetry RN for a nights and every-other-weekend assignment in Salem, MA. A strong cardiac background and active MA licensure are required.

The position covers a 24-bed medical cardiology unit with post cath care, telemetry interpretation, and cardiac drips. Expect 36 hours per week on a night schedule 19:00–07:30, with Epic charting and travel benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license required, no conditional or pending licenses.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 2+ years of RN experience with a strong cardiac background.
• 2 years of traveler experience required.
• Must be able to interpret telemetry strips and perform cardiac drips.
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed.

Responsibilities

• 24-bed Medical Cardiology unit setting.
• Patient population includes post cath care cases such as PCI, ICD, PPM, and ablation procedures using TR band and femoral approach.
• RN to patient ratio of 1:5 days and 1:6 nights.
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30 with every other weekend required.
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment Uses Epic for charting.
• Provide nursing care on a medical cardiology unit, including post cath monitoring and cardiac drip administration.
• Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility, with a reduced rate applying.
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration.
