American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift in a hospital setting.

The role requires an active TX or compact RN license, 2+ years of experience, and travel nursing background. BLS is required; NIHSS is preferred. Cerner charting experience is a plus. Working 4x12 night shifts, with potential 48s or 36/48 alternations, and float duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (TX or compact) currently in hand.
• Current certifications: BLS; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• Cerner charting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours (18:45-7:15).
• Will consider straight 48s or 36/48 alternating schedules.
• Required to float to other med/surg/tele units as assigned.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered for this position.
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screen including marijuana, with any positive result resulting in automatic cancellation.
