American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a 3x12 day shift in Tyler, TX. Requires an active TX or compact RN license and BLS; travel experience preferred.

The unit handles vascular disease patients, 12 private rooms, census up to 16, with telemetry and Epic charting. Floating and weekend shifts are required; candidates outside 50 miles and from certain counties are ineligible.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• 1-2 years of recent experience required.
• Epic charting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg telemetry unit focused on vascular disease patients.
• Unit includes 12 private rooms and 2 semi-private rooms with a maximum census of 16.
• May include medical-surgical and telemetry overflow admissions.
• Patient ratio of 1:6.
• Charting in Epic.
• Day shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Floating required.
• Weekends required.
• Travel experience preferred.
• No travel pairs or groups accepted.
• Former perm staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler.
• Candidates residing within 50 miles are not accepted.
• Not eligible if residing in specified counties.
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is allowed during the first week of orientation.
