Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• NURSYS report verifying all active RN licenses required.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting.
• 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a, every other weekend.
• 3 shifts per week with a 36-hour weekly guarantee.
• May float to the psych annex and to lower acuity units in addition to Med Surg/Tele.
• May be requested to float to other Concord Hospital campuses on an emergency basis only.
• No on-call requirements.
• Cardizem and insulin drips and phenobarbital administered on the unit.
• Provide Med/Surg Telemetry nursing care with cross-training to psych annex and lower acuity units.
• Holiday coverage required.
• Weekly orientation provided.
• First-time travelers with strong experience will be considered.
• Local candidates accepted at a local rate within 50 miles of the facility.
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service.
• RTO must be submitted for consideration.

• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
• Advanced telemetry experience required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
• Updated resume documenting travel experience
• Skills checklist matching specialty required
• NURSYS report verifying all active RN licenses required
• 2-3 professional references required (manager or charge RN, no peers/coworkers)
