Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN with advanced telemetry experience for a 12-hour night shift contract in New Hampshire. Active NH or Compact RN license is required, with BLS, ACLS and NIHSS certifications.

Minimum 2+ years Med/Surg acuity plus strong references and NURSYS verification are needed. Responsibility includes working on a Med/Surg unit with advanced telemetry, using Cerner EMR, and potential floats to Concord Hospital locations during emergencies.

Qualifications

• Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of consideration.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 2+ years of acute care experience in Med/Surg.
• 2 recent Charge/Manager RN references matching specialty required.
• NURSYS report and verification of active RN licenses required.
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg unit within an acute care hospital setting.
• Advanced telemetry experience required.
• 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a), 3 shifts per week.
• Guaranteed 36 hours weekly.
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required.
• Uses Cardizem and Insulin drips on telemetry.
• May be required to float to Concord Hospital-Franklin & Concord Hospital on emergency basis.
• No on-call requirements.
• Care for Med/Surg patients requiring advanced telemetry monitoring.
• First-time travelers with strong experience will be considered.
• Local candidates accepted within 50 miles at the local rate.
• Weekly orientation provided.
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service.

• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2+ years of acute care experience in Med/Surg specialty required
• 2 recent Charge/Manager RN references matching specialty required (no peer references)
• Skills checklist matching specialty required
• NURSYS report and verification of all active RN licenses required
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
