American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele travel position requiring BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications along with Epic EMR experience.

The role includes a 3x12 night schedule, 1:5 patient ratios, and opportunities to float to related units. Travel and housing support are provided for eligible candidates.

Formación

• Active TN or compact RN license required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience.
• Epic EMR experience within last 18 months.
• Must pass Epic competency exam on site.
• Travel experience preferred.
• Charge nurse experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Night shift 3x12 hours (18:45–07:15).
• 1:5 patient ratio on Med/Surg/Tele unit.
• May float to other MS/Tele units or low acuity ICU as needed.
• Provide nursing care with skills in cardiac monitoring, respiratory care, IV therapy and wound care.
• Experience with CVA, seizure disorders, spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury preferred.
• Epics EMR system used for documentation and orders.
• Floating expected unless otherwise specified.

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications along with Epic EMR experience.

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience within the last 18 months required and must be clearly documented on profile
• Must pass Epic competency exam on site
• Travel experience preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Two supervisory references required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Candidates requiring respirator fit testing must be clean-shaven

Responsibilities

• Busy Med Surg/Tele unit setting
• 1:5 patient ratio
• Night shift schedule of 3x12 hours from 18:45 to 07:15
• No on-call requirements
• May float to other MS/Tele units or low acuity ICU as needed
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Provide nursing care on a busy Med Surg/Tele floor with skills in cardiac monitoring, respiratory care, IV therapy, and wound care
• Experience with CVA, seizure disorders, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury patients preferred
• Experience with total joint replacement and ortho trauma patients
• Experience managing renal failure and pre/post hemodialysis patients
• Floating expected unless otherwise specified
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• All RTO must be disclosed prior to consideration, as additional time off will not be approved afterward
• No block scheduling or special schedule accommodations will be made
• Failure of the Epic competency exam will result in cancellation
