The role supports a 16-bed MS/Tele unit, 19:00–07:30 shifts, with 6–8 weekend shifts in a 6-week rotation, no on-call, and possible float to sister facilities. Navy blue scrubs are required and Epic is used for charting.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Float within scope based on unit census, including possible floating to sister facilities.

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• BLS (AHA) certification required; CPI preferred
• Minimum 2 years acute care experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Skills required include IV therapy/phlebotomy, central and peripheral line care, PICC line management, chest tube management, CBI/TURP care, feeding tube management, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Preferred skills include non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, wound care/wound vac, insulin drip titration, and surgical drain management

Responsibilities

• MS/Tele unit in a hospital setting with 16 staffed beds
• Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00-7:30), various days of the week
• Minimum 6-8 weekend shifts required within a 6-week schedule period (weekend shifts defined as Sat/Sun days and Fri/Sat/Sun nights)
• No on-call requirements
• Float within scope based on unit census, including possible floating to sister facilities
• Uses Epic charting system
• Navy blue scrub color required
• Provide nursing care within the MS/Tele unit, including cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Use of Rapid Response/Code teams as needed
• Complete all facility-specific orientation modules within the first week of assignment
• Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13‑week contract, with blackout periods where RTO is not allowed
• No blocked scheduling requests permitted
• First‑time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met
• Previous UCHealth employees must disclose prior employment history for eligibility review
• Returning travelers who completed a full year on assignment must wait at least one year before rebooking
• Local candidates accepted within 75 miles of the facility
