Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is seeking an Oncology Chemo Certified RN for a day-shift infusion assignment in Oregon. This travel position requires oncology experience, an ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy provider card, and Epic EMR proficiency.

The role supports a critical access, Level III facility with a Monday–Friday schedule and 9-hour shifts. You'll manage a caseload of 6–7 patients per shift, provide direct infusion nursing care, and may float to sister facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Active OR RN license required; Compact license acceptable.
• Minimum 1 year of oncology nursing experience required.
• ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy provider card required.
• Epic EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oncology infusion nursing care to patients.
• Work in the Oncology Chemo Certified unit of a critical access, Level III trauma teaching hospital.
• Caseload of 6-7 patients per shift with no formal ratios.
• Variable Monday-Friday day shift schedule, 9-hour shifts (7:00-16:00).
• Float to other units and sister facilities based on staffing needs.
• Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day).
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted up front; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted.
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius.

• 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years, in a comparable specialty/setting, required

Responsibilities

• Work in the Oncology Chemo Certified unit of a critical access, Level III trauma teaching hospital
• Variable Monday-Friday day shift schedule, 9-hour shifts (7:00-16:00)
• Caseload of 6-7 patients per shift with no formal ratios
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Float to other units and sister facilities based on skill set and staffing needs
• Uses Epic for charting
• Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Provide direct oncology infusion nursing care to patients
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted up front; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
• Former Providence permanent employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
