Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN for an Oncology Chemo Certified unit in Florida with an active FL license and BLS. ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification is required, with proof submitted for consideration, and a minimum of 2 years in the specialty is expected.

The role covers an inpatient 5th Floor Med/Oncology unit with care for both medical and chemotherapy patients. Night shifts, charting in Epic or Cerner, and travel housing allowances are included; local candidates may be considered at the

Qualifications

• Active FL or compact RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification required, with proof submitted for consideration.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty required.
• Cerner or Epic charting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient 5th Floor Med/Oncology unit.
• Cares for both medical and chemotherapy patients.
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-7:00).
• Epic charting experience preferred.
• Provide inpatient nursing care to oncology and medical patient populations on a combined unit.
• RTO limited to no more than 10 days, excluding the first or last week of the assignment.
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate.
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 12 months to be eligible as a traveler.
