American Traveler is hiring an Oncology Chemotherapy Infusion RN in Washington state for a hospital setting. Requires OCN Chemo/Immunotherapy certification and WA/compact RN license.

Responsibilities include 4x10s shifts, no on-call, potential rotation, and direct patient care across the nursing process with emphasis on discharge planning and education.

Qualifications

• Active WA State RN license or compact license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• OCN Chemo/Immunotherapy certification required and must be maintained.

Responsabilités

• Work in an Oncology Chemotherapy Infusion unit within a hospital setting.
• Shift schedule of 4x10s, 40 hours per week, 0730-1800.
• No on-call responsibilities required.
• May float in rotation, including serving as a sitter when needed.
• Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care using the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice.
• Develop, implement, and reassess individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments.
• Evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness and educational needs.
• Document assessments, care provided, interventions, and patient responses.
• Perform holistic, ongoing patient assessments and respond to changes in status.
• Teach patients and families health information in a timely manner.
• Delegate appropriately and oversee care by non-licensed assistive personnel.
• Communicate and collaborate with all members of the healthcare team.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment per hospital policies
