Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for an Oncology Infusion (Chemo) position in Terre Haute, Indiana. The role requires chemotherapy certification and at least 3 years of RN experience in an acute care setting.

The nurse will administer IV chemotherapy, monitor patients, and document using Cerner EMR and Intellidose (TxM). The assignment is 13 weeks, day shift, with travel support and housing options available.

Qualifications

• Active RN license IN or Compact required.
• Chemotherapy certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with Cerner and Intellidose (TxM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in 4W Oncology Infusion unit performing chemo administration.
• Administer IV chemotherapy and other IV therapies.
• Provide pre- and post-treatment patient assessments and care.
• Access ports or peripheral IVs for labs and IV therapy.
• Monitor patients during treatment and manage side effects per protocol.
• Uses Cerner EMR and Intellidose (TxM) charting.
• Schedule: Mon-Thu 7:30am-5pm, Fri 7am-Noon, 13-week assignment with day shift.
• Scrub colors: solid Ceil Blue, Royal Blue, Burgundy/Wine, Pewter Gray.
• Must complete CBC, CMP, Urinalysis, and Reticulocyte Count prior to start.
• Flexibility with scheduling may be requested based on patient treatment needs.
• Local candidates accepted if residing 50 miles or more from the facility.

• Prior chemotherapy infusion experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Cerner and Intellidose (TxM) preferred
• BSN not required for this position
