Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an RN for a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility in South Dakota. Must have at least 1 year of RN experience and an SD or compact license, with BLS certification.

Position features 12-hour day shifts, 36 guaranteed hours/week (potential to 48), every third weekend, and every other holiday. No on-call required. Local candidates within 80 miles encouraged to apply; first-time travelers considered.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (SD or compact) required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
• Valid driver's license required for consideration.
• Two professional references required: one supervisor reference from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor reference from within the last 3 years worked, each including employment dates and rehire eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Post-acute care setting within a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility unit.
• 12-hour day shifts.
• Every third weekend rotation required.
• Every other holiday coverage required.
• 36 guaranteed hours per week, with potential for up to 48 hours.
• Overtime available.
• No on-call or call-back responsibilities.
• Uses a computerized charting system other than standard EMR platforms.
• Provide nursing care to residents in a long term care/skilled nursing facility setting.
• Local candidates accepted.
• Candidates must reside within an 80-mile radius of the facility.
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position.
