American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility position in Iowa. Applicants must hold a valid IA or Compact RN license, BSN, and BLS, with a minimum of 2 years of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (IA or Compact) required.
• BSN required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
• Valid driver's license required for consideration.
• Two professional references: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Post-acute care setting within a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility unit
• 12-hour day shifts with rotating every other weekend and holiday coverage
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No on-call or call-back responsibilities
• Uses a computerized charting system other than standard EMR platforms
• Provide nursing care to residents in a long-term care/skilled nursing setting
• Work week runs Sunday through Saturday
• Holiday coverage required as part of the every-other-weekend rotation
• Local candidates accepted at an adjusted rate
• Must reside within an 80-mile radius or accept the local adjusted bill rate
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Two weeks' notice required for cancellation
