Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility position on night shift in South Dakota. Licensure must be SD or compact, with BLS and at least 1 year of RN experience. A valid driver’s license is required, and BSN is not required.

Responsibilities include 12-hour night shifts, rotating holidays, PCC charting, and providing care in a post-acute LTC/Skilled Nursing unit. Local candidates within 80 miles may be offered an adjusted rate.

Qualifications

• Active SD or compact RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
• BSN not required for this position.
• Valid driver’s license required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Post-acute care setting within a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility unit.
• 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend and holiday required.
• Work week runs Sunday through Saturday.
• No on-call or call-back responsibilities.
• Uses Point Click Care (PCC) charting system.
• Provide nursing care to long term care and skilled nursing patients.
• Holiday coverage required as part of the regular shift rotation.
• Local candidates accepted at an adjusted rate.
• Must reside within an 80-mile radius for local placement eligibility.
• 2 weeks notice required for cancellation.
