American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an RN for a Post-Acute Skilled Nursing Rehab unit in Vermont. Requires active VT RN or compact license, and at least 1 year of clinical and specialty experience. EPIC EMR experience is non-negotiable; dementia care certification and travel experience are a plus.

The role features a 12-hour night shift (36 hours/week), with occasional unit-wide floating and required weekend/holiday coverage. Excellent benefits and housing support offered.

Responsabilidades

Post-Acute Skilled Nursing Rehab unit duties in a long-term care facility
Care for adults 60+ requiring skilled nursing rehab
Nurse to patient ratio 1:14 with LNA/CNA/PCT support
12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
No guaranteed days off unless in contract; schedule varies
Occasional floating to other units as needed
Use EPIC for documentation and med administration
Procedures include phlebotomy, EKGs, transports, nebulizer transitions, IV starts
Provide post-acute skilled nursing rehab care to adults and geriatric patients
Must be able to work every other weekend and 2 major holidays

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Post-Acute Skilled Nursing Rehab unit requiring at least 1 year of recent clinical experience and current EPIC charting experience.

Recent EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years required, non-negotiable
Dementia capable care certification preferred
Prior travel experience preferred

Responsibilities

Post-Acute Skilled Nursing Rehab unit within a long-term care and rehabilitation facility
Patient population consists of adults aged 60+ requiring skilled nursing rehab care
Nurse to patient ratio of 1:14 with ancillary support including LNA/CNA/PCT staff
12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week
Schedule varies with no guaranteed days off or weekends unless specified in contract
Floating required on an occasional/as-needed basis to Long-Term Care and Memory Care units
Uses EPIC for both documentation and medication administration
Unit procedures include phlebotomy, EKGs, patient transports, nebulizer-to-inhaler transitions, and starting IVs
Uses IV pumps as specialized equipment
Provide skilled nursing rehab care to adult and geriatric patients in a post-acute setting
Must be able to work a minimum of every other weekend and adjust schedule to meet unit needs
Must be available to work 2 of the 4 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day
No block scheduling permitted under any circumstances
Reliable personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended, as public transportation is not accessible in the area
Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April
Bi-weekly orientation sessions are held on Mondays
