Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing position in Albion, Nebraska. Requires NE or Compact licensure, BLS certification, and at least one year of RN experience.

Night shift is 6p–6a (some 10p–6a), with 8- and 12-hour options. Local candidates within 80 miles may receive a lower rate; generous housing, travel/licenses, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
• Driver's license required for consideration.
• Two professional references with dates and eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a LTC/SNF post-acute setting.
• Care for patient populations including dementia and chronic conditions.
• Utilize PCC EMR for documentation and care planning.
• Night shift schedule: 6pm–6am (some 10pm–6am) with 8/12 hour options.
• Every other weekend and holiday required; on-call not offered.
• Orientation: 1–2 shifts at location; travel/licensure reimbursements.

• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, both including employment dates and rehire eligibility

Responsibilities

• Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility (LTC/SNF) setting in a Post Acute care environment
• Units consist of 20 and 22 bed capacities with an average patient ratio of 1:22
• Patient population commonly includes dementia, diabetes, hypertension, chronic kidney disease, falls, and ADL assistance needs
• Uses Point Click Care (PCC) EMR system
• Night shift schedule, primarily 6p-6a with some 10p-6a shifts
• 8 and 12 hour shift options available
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• On-call or call back not available or billable
• 1-2 shifts of location specific orientation provided
• Provide nursing care to long term care and skilled nursing patients
• No charge differential offered at this facility
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate within an 80-mile radius
• First time travelers may be considered for this position
