Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Infusion RN with chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification and at least 2 years of oncology infusion experience for a day-shift assignment in the Washington, DC area.

The role requires an active DC RN license, BLS, and chemo/immunotherapy provider card, with at least one prior travel assignment and two supervisory references. The position features a daytime schedule, no weekend or holiday shifts, and a travel-friendly plan with a 60-mile local radius

Qualifications

• Active DC RN license is required (pending may be accepted).
• BLS certification is required; OCN preferred.
• Current chemotherapy/immunotherapy provider card required.
• Minimum 2 years of oncology infusion experience in the last 7 years.
• Teaching hospital experience is required.
• At least one prior travel assignment is required.
• Two supervisory references, including the most recent, supporting 2+ years in the past 3 years.
• Proficient in IV therapy, ports, central lines, PICC care and IV starts.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Infusion Center with oncology patients.
• Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments.
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:6–7.
• Day shift: 10:00 AM–6:30 PM, Monday–Friday; no weekends/holidays.
• Reside within 60 miles for travel rate; local may receive lower rate.
• No RTO in first two weeks; max 7 days per 13 weeks.
• Prior health system travel experience required or, if returning, 1 year separation.
• First-time travelers are not considered; at least one prior travel assignment required.

• At least 1 previous travel assignment required
• Two supervisory references required, including one from the most recent assignment, supporting at least 2 years of experience within the past 3 years
• Skilled in IV therapy and infusions, accessing and managing ports, central line and implanted line care, PICC line care, and starting/maintaining IVs

Responsibilities

• Oncology patient population receiving chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments
• Patient ratio of 1:6-7
